Job Description:
Powertrain Engineering is responsible for the development of complete powertrain, where transmission development is in-house designed. The group Functions and Attribute’s role in the development process is to bridge the customer need and requests to subsystem requirements by applying a function development approach.
The customer is now building the new functional architecture to meet the future and need to strengthen our team for future challenges and projects. They are therefore looking for another Function realization responsible. The functions to be developed are either end-user or vehicle functions where the technical realization is not limited but to a large extent is done in the powertrain system.
As Function realization responsible (FRR) you will be responsible for the realization of a vehicle function and to develop a technical solution based on the function description and requirements from the function owner. The function realization shall include a technical concept with requirements allocated to sub-systems, both HW and/or SW requirements. If applicable, the FRR develop a functional safety concept. You shall verify the function in the vehicle to secure the subsystems are cooperating as intended.
 
Responsibilities and tasks:
  • Function Realization – allocate necessary requirements on subsystems
  • Functional Safety Concept
  • System FMEA
  • Function verification based on subsystem requirements  
 
Requirements:
  • Master Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
  • More that 5 years of relevant experience in Powertrain development
  • Meriting in previous work in large scale automotive in Powertrain System Engineering role or similar
  • Genuine interest for vehicles and vehicle functions without the need to dig deep info detailed technical solutions
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Cultural awareness, especially Asian -European culture
