Description
On behalf of our customer, we are looking for a Signalling Functional Tester to work on a contract basis in England.

Requirements: 
  • Strong Non-Functional Testing experience
  • Good understanding of NFRs
  • Ability to create an NFT framework in response to use cases
  • Skill to create test cases and understand the results for data being moved across interfaces (i.e. through API stacks, into MySQL databases from Cloud to on-prem)
  • JMeter exposure would be a bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying variations to contract and pass the information to the TIC.
  • Control the daily work in line with the T&C commissioning plan.
  • Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations for implementation
  • Ensure safe system of work is maintained.
  • Completes testing activities as directed by the relevant site test team lead (SCS/SMC/VCC or External Interfaces).
  • Ensures correct test procedures are available to complete allocated tasks.
  • Ensures adequate safety arrangements are in place during testing activities.
  • Completes allocated testing activities in accordance with approved test procedures, test specifications and test plans.
  • Completes necessary testing documentation on completion of testing activities.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of testing documentation with particular emphasis on compliance to standards and Industry practice.
  • Directs testing activities of any assistants allocated to his tasks.
