Description
We are looking for a OBD/Diagnostic System Engineer Engineer for an assignment on site at one of our automotive customers in Sweden. 

12+ months long-term contract
Help with relocation to Sweden 
  • Start Date: As soon as possible 

Job Description:

  • As Diagnostic System Engineer in Powertrain Engineering Controls & Calibration you are responsible for the system engineering/requirements in diagnostic/OBD related areas.
  • You are working closely with the other functions in Powertrain Engineering like the SW, calibration and verification teams, developing the next generation of powertrain controls for conventional and hybrid powertrains.
  • You will belong to a scrum team responsible for OBD and diagnostics. The main task for the team is to ensure that new gearbox technologies comply with the most stringent diagnostics regulations in the world as well as being part of preparing our drivelines for EU certification.

Responsibilities and tasks: 

  • EOBD and OBD2 legislation interpretation and breakdown
  • Work within Transmission System Diagnostics
  • Requirements elicitation, system requirements analysis, system architectural design
  • Support in writing specifications on lower levels, e.g. on component level.
  • Report consequences and implications of Diagnostics to the Product Owner Diagnostics

  • Profile and Background:
  •  
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering or the equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience as a system engineer or similar
  • Good Knowledge and minimum 1 year of experience within OBD and diagnostics
  • Some experience of transmission system and Functional Safety is meriting
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to travel
