Job Description
We have a great opportunity for a Lean Manager to join us in our supplier in Sweden As part of a wider global initiative we are looking for someone to come on board and drive improvements at site level.
You’ll will lead, manage and develop the CI, Production Engineering and Maintenance department to achieve business plan objectives and be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques , provision, support and improvement of robust manufacturing processes and equipment.
There are a lot of interesting projects, lean transformation to reduce cost and create space to expand products and opportunities to mature lean on site and to help drive and improve productivity.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, will be responsible for:

Be the lead LEAN Manager

·Leading the deployment of Lean Programme within the site, working cross functionally on site and across other locations
·Developing organisation-wide lean thinking and utilisation of lean tools
·Developing and implementing key performance indicators, in line with Group objectives, to drive business improvements across the site
·Establishing key strategic activity required to develop the team in line with overall business objectives
·Leading and facilitating Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs)
·Driving operational efficiency and cost reduction projects designed to achieve site productivity and company profit targets
·Maintaining and developing the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirements. Ensure proactive support and development of all manufacturing processes, procedures and systems, enabling full support to production department
Experience required:

Ideally 10 years’ experience utilising lean manufacturing techniques with demonstrated success
Experience of using six sigma methodology to improve operational performance
Proven track record of achieving strategic business objectives within an operations role
Previous experience coordinating complex projects

Desirable:

Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing related subject

The Successful Lean Manager will have:

Data driven approach with a proven track record in successful and sustainable business improvement
Strong problem solving techniques
Strong computer and data collection system literacy, analysis and presentation. Proven presentation skills, including use of common tools

Ideally anyone from Trucks and Automotive Expertise. Also this position with be start of a yearly 250 Units to begin yearly and then scale up.
