Description
On behalf of our client we are looking for the Homologation Engineer to work in Sweden on a contact basis.


You will join a business who develop electric vehicles / public transport systems. You will play a key part of the Engineering Team, working within the product development life cycle process.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a forward-thinking business who are looking to change the way public transport systems are operated and delivered.

 
 
Job responsibilities:
 • Developing detailed engineering activities to support new product development, production and assembly.
• Supporting aftermarket and rectification works with an emphasis on legal and homologation certification and DVP&R approval.
 • Working to recognized engineering standards and in-house quality control metrics.
• Ensuring compliance for product life cycles, engineering developmentrelease, and document control.
• Developing new and innovative solutions for new and current products.
• Offering advice and guidance on legal and regulatory requirements and their approvals / certification process.
 
 
Required competences:
 • Experience with CAD packing systems modelling instructions. (proving clearances, clash detection, articulation/movement, vibration)
• Experience with welded structures and tubular frame constructions. (Engine, Axle, Suspension, Cooling Packages)
• Understanding of mechanical loading, durability, data collections and validation testing,
• CAD Nx is a plus
• Good all-round project / management leadership skills.
• Degree level qualification or experience equivalent.
