Visual Designer Contract Sweden

For our client we are looking for a Visual Designer for Car UX to work in Sweden on  a contract basis.

The Car UX department is a part of Company Design. They are responsible for defining the digital user experience for the drivers and passengers of company vehicles.

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Work with infotainment related user experiences as part of a cross-functional team together with developers, UX and visual designers and design researchers
• Communicating, presenting and visualising design concepts and working closely together with designers and other stakeholders to ensure consistency
• Delivering production ready designs and assets for the development team
• Building and maintaining design library for relevant touch points as well as documenting designs

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts or similar.
• 6+ years of documented experience within field of visual/UX design
• Excellent design skills in tools such as Figma or Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent prototyping and motion design skills using tools like Flinto, After Effects or similar
• Strong understanding of building and maintaining design libraries or systems
• Good understanding of interaction design
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with other designers and stakeholders
• Creative mindset with experience working with strong brands
• Responsive to feedback and able to follow directions
• Hands-on getting things done attitude
• Driver’s licence is required
• Excellent skills in both written and spoken English

We also appreciate:

• Previous experience with the in-car context
• Previous experience designing for embedded touch points
• Basic knowledge in 3D design (Blender, Maya or Cinema 4D)
