Job Description: 
We are looking for experienced Construction Managers for EPCM/EPC projects. You should have a good track record and experience from big and complex projects. You will be working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. Experience from projects towards the chemical industry is a plus. The Construction Manager has the responsibility to lead, manage and control all construction-related activities in the project to deliver on requirements, budget and schedule.
 
Within the project core team, the Construction Manager has in principle the following main tasks and duties:
  • Define, together with the Client, a project construction philosophy in accordance with the contract.
  • Review the baseline of the Constructability Study Report
  • Support the engineering team to ensure a good constructability of the plant
  • Define construction activities, sequences, resources and time periods in order to develop the detailed construction schedule based on the contract
  • Prepare and communicate the Construction Manual, in line with the Project Management Plan
  • Support the Project Manager in acquiring the project construction team
  • Set-up of procedures and facilities to ensure safeguarding of material and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce the quality and HSE&S and management procedures in cooperation with the Quality and HSE&S Managers
  • Ensure that proper quality documentation is maintained at site in cooperation with the Quality Inspector
  • Monitor material receipt procedures and non-conformance report procedures as described in the Construction Manual
  • Ensure that technical queries procedures, quality management procedures are followed. Ensure that HSE&S regulations are followed continuously by all contractors and that contractor(s) report HSE&S issues in line with the legal requirements.
