 Description and Requirements:

This position is based in Jeddah, KSA. The tentative assignment duration is about 24 months. Responsibilities The Contract and Claim Manager is responsible for management and coordination of the Main Contracts (main equipment suppliers, civil, electro-mechanical installation) related issues and activities coming up during the construction works execution at the project, in particular: - Main equipment supply - Site installations and services - Civil construction The main activities of the Contract and Claim Manager are, but not limited to: - Familiarization with the existing agreements - Familiarization with the relevant documents of the Main Contracts (equipment suppliers, main civil and electro-mechanical installation) - Familiarization with AFRY’s detail and construction design, and contracts’ technical specification - Familiarization with AFRY’s internal site project manual, working rules, safety and first aid procedures - Administration and management of the contracts, including deviations, variations and claims from the contractors - Administration and management of contract issues considering details of the project master schedule, budget, interim payments, executed work progress, adjustments, variation orders and force majeure events - Recommendations of the contract specific issues to the civil and electromechanical works of the contractors - Support of AFRY Team from the contractual perspective for the supervision of construction works and equipment installation - Communication with the Owner and AFRY project manager and site coordinators, management of day-to-day interactions related to the contract's issues - Communication with the contractor’s contract managers at site - Participation and contribution to the monthly Coordination, Design, and other meetings The assignment will require you to be on site in Jeddah during those 24 months.
