Component Owner / Design Engineer for Belt Drive components.
Lead supplier and customer meetings related to belt drive systems.
Conduct and lead FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) with support from senior designers.
Track project development and create component time plans according to our product development process.
Define and document system and component requirements, ensuring on-time delivery with quality and cost targets.
Coordinate between manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless project integration.
Provide technical support for component-related issues and implement design changes based on test results and feedback.
Report progress, issues, and results to both line and project organizations.
Skill requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical or relevant engineering field.
Minimum 3 years of automotive development experience, preferably in Powertrain.
Knowledge of product development process, requirement specification, and product documentation is advantageous.
Fluent in English; a valid driver’s license is a plus.
Experience with FEAD components or rotating shaft systems, and cross-functional teamwork.
