Lead Seating Design Engineer 3 year contract Munich German Speak

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Seat Engineer that will work directly at our customer in Munich Germany. As a Lead Seat Engineer, you will act as a key liaison between our company and the customer, ensuring that all engineering deliver meet the customer’s requirements and specifications required in the automotive industry.

Main responsibilities:

•Complete seat packaging and communication with BMW in engineering aspect

•Prepare engineering proposal

•Check layout of complete seat in comfort, safety and craftsmanship

•Integrate data, check and modify interfaces.

•Conduct test, signoff of data and drawings

•Analyses root case of test, trail issues and set up action plan

•Contact with third party which provide data upload service and check the progression

•Communicate with customer and domestic colleagues, cooperate with domestic colleagues to complete allocated tasks together.

•Complete other tasks from the leader

Qualifications:

•Degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering) or equivalent industry experience.

•Experience in a engineering role, preferably in the automotive sector.

•Knowledge of tools and methods (e.g., 8D reports, FMEA,  CATIA, A3 reports).

•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.

•Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

•Willingness to travel regularly and be present at the customer’s location.

•Proficient in both German and English languages.
