Design Engineer - Rotating Parts of Transmissions The person will be involved in both conventional driveline projects as well as new transmissions for electromobility. The components to be handled are mainly gears, shaft and bearings. In addition support to other component areas might be needed. Therefore a knowledge in transmission engineering would be very beneficial. A must is to have a good knowledge and experience of design of these kind of machine elements. Good communication skills and self-management is also important as the person will have to lead own tasks assigned. The position includes CAD work as well. Hence a good knowledge in CREO is a great merit. Of course we see knowledge in Volvo systems as a great asset.
