Mechanical Engineer Solidworks with ARAS PLM.
For our innovative client within the high tech energy sector, we are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen their engineering team. The assignment involves mechanical development of large, complex structures and process related systems in a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and development of large metal structures, welded assemblies, and machined components.
- 3D modelling and documentation using SOLIDWORKS.
- Working with the client’s PLM environment Aras
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with standards.
- Support design reviews, technical investigations, and continuous improvement of design practices.
- Contribute to solving complex engineering challenges in a demanding and safety critical environment.
Required Competencies
- Proven experience in mechanical design within heavy industry, process industry, energy, or other large structure domains.
- Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS
- Documented experience working with welded structures and machined metal parts.
- Experience designing large, complex assemblies.
- Experience level: Medior to Senior.
- Good understanding of engineering standards and design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Experience with Aras PLM is highly meritorious.

Assignment start: February 2026.
Duration: estimated 6-12 months
Location: On-site at client's office in central Stockholm
Workload: Full-time.
Language: English is required; Swedish is preferable.
Citizenship: Due to the nature of the client’s business and applicable regulations, certain citizenships may be restricted from participating in this assignment.
EU applicants only not processing work permits.
