- Description
For our client we are looking for a skilled Passive Safety CAE Engineer Contract Job Sweden to join our team and contribute to the development and verification of advanced vehicle safety solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform CAE simulations and analyses related to pedestrian passive safety.
- Conduct and support CEA and physical verification activities.
- Perform interior head injury and free-motion headform analysis according to FMVSS201U requirements.
- Develop, evaluate, and optimize safety performance using LS-DYNA simulations.
- Work with CAD models to prepare, review, and improve simulation setups.
- Analyze simulation and test data to support engineering decisions and design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development process.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of interior head injury assessment and free-motion headform analysis (FMVSS201U).
- At least 2 years of experience with LS-DYNA.
- Good CAD knowledge and ability to work with vehicle geometry/models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
