On our client’s behalf we are looking for a Lead/Senior User Interface Designer with strong typography, visual, user interface, and interaction design skills to join the team.
Job Description:
The Lead/Senior User Interface Designer will be an integral part of the clients Design Team. This individual will elevate the entire vehicle user experience to the next level by designing a world class connected car user interface. This will be done by collaborating and iterating with colleagues in the United States and China. They will also have to present and pitch their designs to Chief Creatives and upper management.
The ideal candidate must have extensive experience designing complex and scalable user interfaces for various digital consumer products and a huge passion to want to change the future of mobility.
Responsibilities:
Manage the reception area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
Design digital and non-digital products that are exciting, beautiful, and usable.
Evolve high level ideas into pixel-perfect designs.
Align client’s brand as it applies to layout, color theory, typography, and iconography for digital and non-digital HMI products.
Communicate the design Team’s design philosophy to various Stakeholders, Engineers, and Developers.
Work closely with UI Designers, UX Architects, Interior/Exterior Designers, Engineers, and Developers to help build designs from idea to release.
Contribute to the team’s set of best practices, standards, and design guidelines.
Experience:
At least 7 years of User Interface Design Experience
Expert with tools like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, et al
Very strong body of work demonstrating understanding of design as it applies to web, mobile, and other HMI products (online body of work required for application)
