- On behalf of our customer we are looking for a Lead Engineer Telematics to work in a contract basis in the USA.
Job responsibilities:- Lead Product Design & Development for Infotainment and connectivity components (i.e radios, telematics communication module), keeping in mind vehicle-specific requirements
- Lead To4 to support program sourcing and cost process as per GPDS requirements
- Manage component complexity and commonality in conjunction with global core team
- Lead engineering testing and sign-off for both component and vehicle level
- Manage supplier to ensure their delivery on time with quality as per program requirement
- Provide on-site engineering launch support, lead resolution for launch/build issues
- Support current production vehicle quality issues, engineering changes, and TVM actions
- Support the corporate development and competitive benchmarking of Subsystems as defined in the EESE Responsibility Matrix
- Work with systems integration team to ensure system compatibility
- Consistent and open feed of information to PMST Leader to support correct reporting of program and financial status
- Experience of engineering processes and tools e.g. eFDVS, FMEA, 8D, FIP, ASAP, WERS
- Familiar with Software Development and Release Process
- Experienced using Vector tools mainly CANOe and Canalyzer, and DET tools.
- Experienced Diagnostics and Mux testing
