Description
We are currently looking for a Junior Project Leader in Automotive for our customer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
  • 12+ months contract for the right applicant
  • Good rates, ongoing needs
  • Help with relocation to Sweden
  • 100% on-site at the customer ́s premises. 
 
Job Description:
  • You will be required to work as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, where you will be responsible for new product development, from conceptualisation to the design, development, and testing phases of prototypes, before the final assembly is put into the production phase.
  • You will work with external suppliers, supporting manufacturing activities of designed components. The work may also include identifying suitable suppliers at the procurement stage.
  • The job also involves Part Setup within ERP, Actioning Change requests, and providing technical assistance to the Production Department.
 
Job Requirements:
This role would suit a qualified mechanical engineering apprentice with the following qualifications/ experience/ attributes:
  • Knowledge of design, development, and creation of manufacturing drawings for components
  • Ability to produce a top-level assembly instruction for the production department to follow.
  • Knowledge of Structures.
  • Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering
  • Knowledge of Computer Aided Design systems
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of use of ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding on electronic components.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Takes the initiative when confronted with design challenges.
  • Can multi-manage projects.
  • Used to working at a fast pace.
  • Having a “get it right first-time” attitude.
  • Actioning Change Requests.
  • Providing technical assistance to the Production Department.
 
The successful applicant, once settled, will be required to work mainly independently and work to tight deadlines under the Engineering Manager, where regular project reviews will be undertaken to monitor progress.
