Job description:
We are now looking for a Creative 3D Omniverse Pipeline Developer to support our internal creative 3D team’s Omniverse centric development needs. Seeking a highly motivated and experienced programmer to support our internal creative team, for the development of interactive 3D content to support technology demonstrations, marketing campaigns, product launches and events. This person would collaborate with the broader Omniverse platform developer team to extend OV’s creator centric capabilities into a well-rounded suite of features, pipeline methodologies and tools suited for a robust 3D production team with a wide versatility of skills and software (3D, animation, augmented reality, virtual production, motion graphics, compositing, particles, dynamics) and GPU rendering.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Apply broad understanding of the 3D content production process and pipeline towards successful execution in a wide variety of contexts.
· Assist in developing Omniverse features targeting use by internal creative teams.
· Create scripts, tools and workflows to streamline artist content creation efficiency.
· Implement and maintain code and asset database repositories.
· Work to increase pipeline efficiency and elevate aesthetics of a project.
· Adapt DCC/3D software and pipeline experience towards mastery of internal proprietary 3D platform software and tools.
Job requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience working at a creative 3D studio or agency.
· Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience) and 6+ years’ experience in a similar developer role.
· Highly knowledgeable with 3D content development pipelines
· Experience collaborating with artists and developers to achieve creative and technology goals.
· Proficient in Python, Perforce, Jenkins, Developer support
· Experience with C#, C++, git, and other languages in support of 3D pipeline.
· Experience with real-time content and rendering solutions (UE4, Unity).
· Experience with USD and MDL, Augmented reality and Virtual Production a big plus.
