Job Description:
We are looking for a driven engineer or equivalent who has a background in mechanical design, but who also wants to participate in, or drive, smaller internal projects. We would like to see that you appreciate working close to the products and see practical work as positive, as the role also includes test assembly of prototypes and participation in failure analyses from the field.
Suggested tasks that need support:
Mechanical design for simple test rigs & fixtures.
Product testing/support with fixturing/setup and testing
Documentation and report writing of performed tests
Support or lead test rig modifications or new acquisitions
Participate and possibly drive the Electromobility focus of the group if interest/knowledge exists
Participate in the Köping 2025 project with regard to relocation of test rigs & associated equipment.
- Support the project manager with mapping of existing rigs/power supply/cooling etc.
- Coordination of rigs / mechanical design / relocation planning / layout etc.
Skill requirements and characteristics:
4-6 years of experience in the domain
Good transmission knowledge m.a.p. gears is a plus, but not a must.
Experience in testing activities is a plus
Interested in technology - important attribute!
Driven with an interest in challenges.
Team player who appreciates working in a team.
Structured and meticulous with an eye for detail.
Hands-on approach to test builds, etc.
Knowledge of electronics is a plus given upcoming challenges - Electromobility.
CAD systems - Creo as first choice
Office package
Experience/Skills: >10 years of experience in the domain
Place of work: Köping in Sweden.
