Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer/Jr Project Manager applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to performs routine engineering work for sub-process or component of a project. He/She works in close collaboration with the project lead on assigned tasks, and provides inputs to design, cost and execution timeline to the project. This engineer ensures that the project progresses in the defined manner. This engineer also performs mechanical testing on prototype, existing or new products to verify they meet safety and design specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Other duties may be assigned):
• Responsible for development of mechanical and electro-mechanical designs.
• Analyze and solve technical problems and assigned tasks.
• Apply new technical tools and concepts under the direction of others
• Suggest and implement design or process modification or enhancements, subject to approval.
• Communicate and collaborates effectively to build project plans, work procedures, build relationships and achieve results.
• Communicate accurately, succinctly, and with purpose through written and verbal communication.
• Creates an environment of innovation and exploration
Job Requirements
• BSME Degree
• 0-5 years of engineering experience, or comparable experience
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicable Engineering Software.
English only is sufficient language skill for this assignment
