Job Description
Clean & Dry Rooms Design Manager (Specialist / Expert) Scope: Overall responsibility to manage the Clean & Dry Rooms design for all facilities and infrastructure projects, through all of the project design stages i.e. concept, basic, detailed, as-built and final handover to the Operations and Maintenance depts.
Key Responsibilities
Gathering, reviewing, and clarifying Clean & Dry Rooms requirements from end users and other project stakeholders, and translate them into a set of functional requirements to be used as a basis of design.
Defining Clean & Dry Rooms requirements for the design of the facility in compliance with design guides and technical specifications.
Leading the Clean & Dry Rooms design during all design phases of the project.
Main tasks include:
· Collaboration with the project design team and other project stakeholders, o participation in project design meetings and reviews
· Resolution of technical queries from contractors, o revision and approval of design deliverables,
· Monitor and report design progress against the agreed scope and schedule,
· Ensure full compliance with set policies, guidelines, and specifications.
· Gathering the Clean & Dry Rooms lessons learned at different project stage gates and updating the relevant documentation accordingly.
· Supporting the Project Design Coordinator in the preparation of scope of work documentation for the project in compliance with design guides and technical specifications. Support the Project Design Coordinator in the change management process throughout the different design phases.
· Working with the Construction design team to ensure that the Clean & Dry Rooms design guides, technical specifications, and procedures are available and adapted for specific use in projects.
· Working with the Construction team to establish Clean & Dry Rooms framework agreements with suppliers.
· Providing Clean & Dry Rooms Technical Support at design, procurement, commercial, construction and commissioning phases.
English only is sufficient language skill for this assignment
