Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Project Managers for EPCM/EPC projects. You should have a good track record and experience from big and complex projects. You will be working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. Experience from projects towards the chemical industry is a plus.
As a Project Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the entire project. In general:- Establish and implement, jointly with the Project Sponsor, the project commercial strategy towards the Client, Partner(s) and Suppliers/Contractors
- Execute the project according to our Project delivery model and associated governing documents (procedures, activity descriptions, check lists, guidelines etc.)
- Ensure that all project core team members have read, understood and act according to the agreed Contract and follow requirements specified in the Contract and in the Project delivery model.
- Initiate early Contract review with all key personnel. Information meeting with all project participants about project scope and administrative procedures
- Manage and control the execution of the project so all obligations of/towards all contractual partners (e.g. Client, partner(s), Suppliers/Contractors) are met to the required quality and HSE&S requirements within time and budget.
- Establish a resource plan. Ensure that enough human resources with the required skills and capabilities are available for the project. Keep good contact with Line organization and other suppliers of resources. Keep control of if certain positions require special approvals/certificates etc.
- Ensure effective procedures for scope follow-up and implement change and claim management procedures and reporting in accordance with Contract and the Project delivery model.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the project. This includes to secure that invoicing, cash collection etc. are all done in accordance with the Contract . Establish procedures for effective project cost control including prognoses for result on manhours, cost and time. Report progress, deviations and mitigating actions.
- The Project Manager shall also monitor, update and report (to Sponsor) the business case i.e. project profitability
