Assignment description

Automation Engineer.

 

The role is to be responsible for the delivery of automation solutions in a cross-functional team working according to agile principles within Tetra Pak. The team delivers complete solutions for packaging equipment.

 

To fit for this role we believe you have experience with programming in PLC and HMI (preferably Rockwell, GE, Intouch from AVEVA). We also expected that you have experience in overall communication systems (Ethernet/IP, serial bus, Ethercat and most popular OPC communication servers etc.)

 

To be successful in this assignment you are a skilled engineer with a strong focus on problem solving, results and quality. It is essential that you are a team player interested in collaborating with others and have the ability to lead and drive activities in your field.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop PLC & HMI/SCADA software for Packaging Lines.
  • Document and present suggested solutions.
  • Create work breakdown, time schedules and cost estimations.
  • Define and revise test specifications/reports.
  • Execute virtual and physical tests.
  • Document and release according to corporate standard.

 

Required skills:

  • Experience in configuring, programming and testing application programs for PLC & HMI/SCADA software. The HMI/SCADA validation will be performed using simulation environment where the candidates can support the development.
  • PLC programming (Rockwell Studio 5000)
  • High level programming (Including understanding of Object Oriented Programming)
  • Knowledge about electrical design
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

 

Start: ASAP

End: 2025-12-31

Equipment: Equipment will be provided by the client.
