Assignment Description and Requirements

This position is based in Jeddah, KSA. The tentative assignment duration is about 24 months. Responsibilities: - The Contracts / Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the project's procurement activities. This role involves strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers while ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of materials, goods, and services necessary for the company’s operations. - Oversee the company’s procurement processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance with terms of contracts. - Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with suppliers and vendors. - Monitor the performance of the suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. - Coordinate with internal teams to understand their material and service requirements and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. - Maintain and update the procurement database, keeping records of all orders, payments, and deliveries. - Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost analyses, and present findings to senior management. Qualifications and Requirements - Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Procurement Coordinator or in a similar role. - Excellent knowledge of procurement and supply chain management processes. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in procurement software and tools. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong project management and leadership skills. - Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - International work experience is seen as a major advantage. - Language skills: Good verbal and written English skills are necessary. - Computer skills: Solid computer skills mastering basics in Microsoft office. - Team player, having good communication and coordination skills. The assignment will require you to be on site in Jeddah during those 24 months.
