TIG MIG MMA Welding contract Jobs Sweden Europe DACH 3-18 months.

Inter-Consulting has new daily needs for Skilled Welding Engineers in UK, Europe & Nordic locations. These can be on rota 3–6-month contracts with good rates

Key Responsibilities

• Welding Production: Perform high-quality MIG welding for faster, thicker metal projects and TIG welding for precise, specialized, or thinner materials.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to meet exact specifications.
• Preparation and Finishing: Cut, grind, and prepare metal parts; polish or clean weld joints post-welding.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding machines (MIG/MAG/TIG) and tools.
• Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspection and testing of welds (e.g., strength, penetration) to meet European standards.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean, safe workspace, strictly following safety regulations and using protective equipment.

Job Requirements

• Certification: Valid welding certificates (e.g., ISO 9606-1) are highly advantageous.
• Experience: Proven experience in both TIG and MIG welding, often with experience in specific industries like automotive, offshore, or heavy steel fabrication.
• Skills: Ability to work with stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.
• Team player
