Job Description
We are, on behalf of one of our customers, looking for two off-site Senior Java Software Developers to join their organization.
This assignment will start 1st of March 2022 and is a long-term assignment (approx. 24 month). This assignment is placed off-site / fulltime.
We're reviewing candidates continuously.
The consultant should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated, take own initiative, and pay attention to details.
The software developers will work in interaction with ICS (Integrated Control System) stakeholders, supporting the Software Team.
The Software Developers will perform, as an example:- Develop, test, document, deploy and support the ICS Controls Configuration Database in a test and production environment
- Develop, test, document, deploy and support the ICS IOC Factory in a test and production environment
- Develop, test, document, deploy and support the IOC Deployment tool in test and production environment.
- Support the ICS Role-Based Access Control in a production environment.
- Support Cable database and Naming tool as per specific requests.
- Support other work as per request.
Job Requirements- Advanced experience with Java Development
- Advanced experience with working with PostgreSQL
- Advanced knowledge of Java web applications (Java EE, PrimeFaces, Wildfly)
- Advanced experience with JPA/Hibernate
- Advanced knowledge of HTML.
- Experience working with Git and Maven
- Experience working with web based applications using ReactJS
- Experience working with RESTful services
- Experience of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience in working in an international research organization.
- Experience with agile development.
- Experience with EPICS control system is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with accelerator facilities control systems.
